Alor Star Tower

I've studied at Kedah for almost 2 years and this was the first time I been to Kedah's famous landmark, Alor Star Tower.

Little info about this tower, it is 165.5m which is about 543 ft. There has a revolving restaurant name Restaurant Berputar Seri Angkasa. It offers a spectacular view of Alor Star.

I went at late night, therefore I din't manage to enter the tower. I just went to snap some nice night view of the tower with the beauties. I will definitely go up the the top of the tower one day =)

I hope that I can manage to explore the whole Kedah before I graduate =D

Namoo Cafe, Gurney Plaza

Namoo Cafe, an autentic Korean restaurant located at Gurney Plaza.
It's my first time entered this cafe.
The surrounding was nice and their dessert was ichiban.
I've ordered their dessert instead of main course as I was craving for sweettooth at that time.

Ordered their Salted ice-cream with caramel popcorn Bing Soo. Caramel popcorn mixed very well with the ice-cream and snowy ice. The taste was just perfect.

The second dessert that I've ordered was the Sweet Potato cake. If you are a sweet potato lover, you will definitely love this cake. It is one of the best selling cake of Namoo. The thick layer of sweet potato mix well with a layer of cream and the cake. The best sweet potato cake that I have ever had so far.

Thai class

Fourth semester has come to the end. Monday was the last class for Thai class.
I couldn't believe that I had finished Thai I in my fourth semester.
Now I manage to read and write simple words in Thai.
Anyway I'm still a beginner, need more practice in order to improve in this language.

Here is my little intro in Thai.

Translate to English:
Sawadee ka
My name is Stephanie
I'm 22 years old
I'm from Kuantan Pahang
My birthday is on 29 December
I'm a Chinese
I learn Thai language in UUM
I have 2 siblings

Since it was the last class, took a photo with Ah Chaan before the class ended.
FYI, Ah Chaan in Thai means teacher.
Glad to spend my one semester learning Thai language with her =)

Brand new starts

Decided to start a new blog coz the previous one was quite messy.
New blog new background.
Everything new and need to start all over again.

I neglected my previous blog for a long time and now is time to start active in blogging again.
I will try to update frequently.

I've change the link of my blog to STEPHANIERED.
WHY CHOOSE THIS NAME?
Red doesn't mean that is my surname HONG in mandarin. My surname is LEE.
Red simply mean to me as it is my favourite colour.
Most of my stuff are in red.
I couldn't think of any other name for this blog so finally I decided to put StephanieRed =D

I've started blogging since 2008 when I was in Form 4.
Friends around me used to have their own blog during that time so they influenced to me have one too.

Blogging is a place for me to update my photos and share whatever stuff I wanna share.
I treat blogging like writing my dairy.
I like to share my outing, my trip, my daily life and etc..

I'm a food lover. I'm not picky about food and willing to try out different kind of food.
I tasted Bee's egg before which I like it very much.

I like photography too but I dont have any pro gadget like DSLR or SLR with me.
I only own a normal camera and Samsung Note 2.
I believed that pictures speak a thousand words, therefore I like to capture down those memorable moment and it will last as my memories.

I like travelling too.
Although my travel place is usually in Malaysia, but one day when I start to work and save money, I wish to travel around the world.
Malaysia has many nice tourist place to visit too =D

I'm just a simple girl who currently studying in UUM under business administration course.
A girl from Kuantan, Pahang and loves to smile =)
